Family Health Center Project – Al-Dahriya Village – Dakahlia Governorate
As part of Egypt's national efforts to enhance the healthcare system—particularly in rural areas—the Family Health Center in Al-Dahriya Village, Sherbin District, Dakahlia Governorate is currently under construction. The project is being executed through direct assignment by the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, as part of the “Decent Life” initiative to develop rural Egyptian villages. The project aims to provide comprehensive medical services to residents of the village and surrounding areas, with a focus on primary healthcare, preventive medicine, reproductive health, vaccinations, and chronic disease monitoring. Project Components: A fully integrated administrative and medical building including multispecialty outpatient clinics, an emergency and reception unit, radiology unit and clinical laboratory, on-site pharmacy, vaccination room, and an electronic medical record system. All civil, structural, and finishing works are executed according to the highest engineering standards. The center will be equipped with the latest medical equipment approved by the Ministry of Health. Project Objectives: Improve the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens, reduce pressure on central hospitals, promote preventive care and primary healthcare, and support the national strategy for universal health coverage.
